Bank transfer at Platiin
A bank transfer is the oldest route in any cashier and often the least glamorous. It is rarely the fastest way to deposit, but it is the method most cashiers fall back on when a payout cannot go anywhere else — after a voucher deposit, after a card refund that only covers the deposited amount, or for larger sums. That makes it worth understanding even if you never use it to pay in. This page explains the deposit, the payout, the details that cause delays, and how a bank transfer deposit fits into bonus terms.
The set of methods and the limits depend on your account — check the cashier.
Depositing by bank transfer
- In the cashier, choose bank transfer and enter the amount. The cashier shows the recipient account details and a payment reference.
- In your online banking, create a transfer with exactly those details. Copy the reference character by character.
- Send from an account in your own name.
- Wait for the transfer to arrive; the cashier states the usual timeframe.
The reference is how the casino matches the money to your account. Without it, the payment lands in a queue for manual assignment, which costs days.
What slows bank transfers down
| Factor | Effect |
|---|---|
| Weekends and bank holidays | transfers are processed on banking days only, unless your bank offers instant payments |
| International transfer | intermediary banks can add days and fees |
| Missing or wrong reference | manual matching by support |
| Name mismatch | deposit may be returned; payout is blocked |
Bank transfer as the payout route
For withdrawals, the cashier asks for your account details. The account must be in the same name as the casino account; a joint account is usually accepted if your name is on it, but check first. Expect the bank details to be verified before the first payout, sometimes with a bank statement showing your name and account number. Once the casino approves the request, the time to arrival depends on the banks involved. For large wins, payouts may be split across several transfers if the casino caps amounts per transaction or period.
Bank transfer deposits and bonuses
Bank transfers often qualify for bonuses, but the delay creates a practical issue: some offers must be activated before the deposit arrives, and some time-limited promotions expire while a transfer is still on its way. A worked example (example in euros; the maths is the same in any currency): a weekend reload offer requires a €100 deposit by Sunday midnight. You send the transfer on Saturday; it arrives Monday. Whether the bonus still applies depends on whether the terms count the sending date or the crediting date — usually the latter.
Worked example — not a Platiin term.
If the bonus is important to you, deposit with a method that is credited at once, or ask support how bank deposits are treated for that offer. Time limits are covered in our bonus terms guide and reload offers on reload bonus.
Fees and currency
Your bank decides what a transfer costs. Domestic transfers in your own currency are often free; international ones and conversions may not be. Choose the casino account currency to match your bank account where possible, and ask your bank about fees before larger transactions.
