Visa at Platiin
A Visa card is the payment method almost everyone already has, which makes it the default first deposit for many players. It is quick and familiar, and card payments come with your bank's protections. But card gambling payments have their own quirks: some banks block them, some payouts cannot return to the card, and the casino will usually want proof that the card is yours. This page goes through them in the order you meet them, plus how a Visa deposit interacts with a bonus.

How a Visa deposit works
- In the cashier, choose Visa and enter the amount.
- Enter the card number, expiry date and security code.
- Confirm in your banking app or with a one-time code (3-D Secure).
- The deposit is usually credited as soon as the bank approves it.
Use a card in your own name. A card belonging to a partner or parent will almost certainly cause problems at the first withdrawal.

Some players deliberately keep a gambling block on their card as a self-control tool. If that is you, a decline is the block doing its job — better to keep it than to look for a workaround.
Withdrawals: back to the card or not?
Visa supports refunds to the card, but not every casino uses that route for winnings. A common pattern is a "closed loop": the amount you deposited by card goes back to the card, and anything above that goes to a bank account or e-wallet. The withdrawal form will show what is possible for your account. If a bank transfer is required, its details must be in your name too.
Card verification
Before a first payout, many operators ask for proof that the card is yours: a photo of the front with only the first six and last four digits visible, and sometimes the back with the CVV covered. Never send a full card number or the security code. Doing this before you have a withdrawal pending saves days later.
Visa deposits and bonuses
Cards often qualify for bonuses, but there is a subtler point: a card deposit is quick, and so is the opt-in that comes with it. A worked example (example in euros; the maths is the same in any currency): a €40 card deposit with a 100% match gives €80 to play with. With 40x wagering on the bonus, the target is €1,600; at €0.40 per spin that is 4,000 spins before the €40 bonus is released. If you only wanted a short session, declining the bonus keeps the €40 as withdrawable real money.

Visa compared with other methods
