How to deposit at Platiin
Funding an account takes a minute. Funding it in a way you will not regret later takes a little longer, because the deposit screen is also where you accept or decline a bonus, and where you choose the route your winnings will most likely take on the way out. This guide follows the deposit in the order the cashier presents it, with the decisions that matter at each step.
The set of methods and the limits depend on your account — check the cashier.
Before you open the cashier
- Decide on the bonus first. Read the offer's terms — multiplier, game contribution, max bet, deadline — before you see the deposit form. Our welcome bonus guide lists what to look for.
- Check the excluded methods. Many bonus terms name payment methods whose deposits do not qualify.
- Think about the way out. If a method cannot receive payouts, you will need a second, verified method later.
- Set a deposit limit. It takes a minute in the account settings and is easier to set before the first payment than after a bad evening.
The deposit, step by step
1. Open the cashier. Log in and choose "Deposit". The list of methods you see is the list available to your account; it can differ from what other players see.
2. Pick the method. Cards ask for card details, wallets for a login, vouchers for a PIN, crypto shows an address, bank transfer shows account details and a reference.
3. Enter the amount. Note the minimum shown for that method and, if you want a bonus, the qualifying deposit in the bonus terms.
4. Select or decline the bonus. A checkbox, a drop-down or a code field. If you do not want the offer, make sure nothing is selected.
5. Confirm with your provider. Bank apps often ask for an extra confirmation; wallets return you to the cashier once the payment is approved.
6. Check the balance and the bonus status. Real-money balance and bonus balance are often shown separately. Check both before the first bet.
How the deposit changes your wagering target
A worked example shows why the opt-in deserves thirty seconds of attention (example in euros; the maths is the same in any currency). You deposit €60 and accept a 50% match, so €30 bonus is credited. If the wagering is 35x on the bonus alone, your target is €1,050. If it is 35x on deposit plus bonus, it is €3,150 — three times as much, from the same deposit. Until that target is reached, the terms often lock part or all of the balance, including the €60 you paid in.
Worked example — not a Platiin term.
If the €3,150 version does not fit your usual play, declining is a perfectly reasonable choice: your €60 then stays real money you can withdraw at any time, subject only to verification. More on the formula in our wagering guide.
Minimum deposit and qualifying deposit
Two numbers are easy to confuse. The minimum deposit is what the cashier accepts for a method. The qualifying deposit is what a bonus requires before it is credited. They are often different, and a deposit that meets the first but not the second simply lands without a bonus. If you want the offer, use the higher of the two.
When a deposit does not show up
- Look in the cashier history: is the payment listed as pending, failed or not at all?
- Check your bank or wallet: did the money actually leave?
- Allow for the method: cards and wallets are usually quick; bank transfers and crypto depend on banking days and network confirmations.
- Contact support with the transaction reference, the time and the amount. A screenshot of the provider's confirmation speeds things up.
Do not deposit a second time to "push" the first payment through; you may end up with two charges and two cases to resolve.
Choosing a method with the payout in mind
Cards, e-wallets and bank transfer can usually receive payouts; vouchers usually cannot. Crypto can, but to a wallet address you control. Each method page explains its own trade-offs: Visa, PayPal, Paysafecard and Bitcoin. When you are ready to cash out, the withdrawal guide takes over.
