Platiin bonuses: every offer type and the line that decides its value
Casino promotions come in a handful of shapes, and each shape hides its cost in a different place. A welcome match hides it in the multiplier, free spins in the cap on winnings, cashback in whether it is paid as cash or as bonus money. This overview sorts the ten types of offer you are likely to meet at Platiin or anywhere else, says where to look in each set of terms and links to a dedicated page with a worked calculation. We do not list current Platiin offers or their figures: those change, and the version that counts is the one shown in the operator's promotions page and cashier when you claim.

The four numbers that matter more than the percentage
Banners lead with the percentage because it is the easiest number to like. The cost of a bonus is set by four other figures, and you can usually find all four in a single paragraph of the terms:
- The multiplier and its base. 30x on the bonus alone is half the turnover of 30x on bonus plus deposit when the match is 100%.
- Game weighting. If slots count 100% and table games 10%, a euro on blackjack does a tenth of the work.
- The deadline. Seven days for €4,000 of turnover is a very different task from thirty days.
- The caps. A maximum bet per round while the bonus is active, and sometimes a maximum amount you can ever withdraw from it.
Our wagering page turns these four into one formula; general bonus terms lists the clauses that void offers most often.
Comparing two offers with one calculation
Here are two invented offers on a €50 deposit, compared with the same method (example in euros; the maths is the same in any currency):
| Line | Offer A: 150% match | Offer B: 50% match |
|---|---|---|
| Bonus | €75 | €25 |
| Multiplier and base | 40x bonus + deposit = €5,000 | 15x bonus = €375 |
| Expected loss at 4% house edge | €200 | €15 |
| Average result after clearing | −€125 | +€10 |
Worked example — not a Platiin term. The house edge is an assumption for slots with roughly 96% RTP.
The smaller offer is worth more on average because it asks for far less turnover. This is the single most useful habit we can pass on: work out the turnover and multiply it by the house edge before looking at anything else. The result is not a prediction of your session — it is the average across many — but it tells you whether the offer is working for you or against you.
Five questions before you accept any offer
- Can I decline the bonus and still deposit normally?
- Is my real money played first, or the bonus money?
- Which payment methods are excluded from qualifying?
- What happens to the bonus if I ask for a withdrawal before finishing?
- Is there a cap on what I can win or withdraw from this bonus?
If the terms do not answer one of these, ask support before you opt in and keep the reply. A written answer is far easier to rely on later than a memory of a chat.
Which offer suits which kind of player
There is no universally best bonus, only a best fit. A player who spins slots for an hour on a Friday evening, with a small stake and no hurry, can live with a moderate multiplier and a thirty-day deadline. A player who prefers blackjack or live roulette gains very little from a match bonus, because table and live games usually count for a fraction of their stakes — for that player, cashback paid as real money is often the only offer that does anything. A player who deposits rarely but in larger amounts should pay most attention to the max-bet cap, because a cap of a few euros per round turns a big bonus into thousands of small spins.
| Playing style | Offers that tend to fit | Offers that tend not to |
|---|---|---|
| Casual slots, small stakes | Low-multiplier match, free spins on a known slot | Large match with a short deadline |
| Table and live games | Cash-paid cashback | Match bonuses with low table weighting |
| Occasional larger deposits | Bonus with a generous max bet | Bonus with a very low max bet |
| Wants quick withdrawals | No bonus at all | Anything with bonus-money-first rules |
How bonus money becomes cash
It helps to picture two wallets. The real-money wallet holds your deposits and any winnings that are free of conditions. The bonus wallet holds credited bonus money and, depending on the terms, the winnings made with it. Money moves from the second wallet to the first only when the requirement is complete. Until then, a withdrawal request normally either takes only the real-money wallet and cancels the bonus wallet, or is blocked entirely. Read the clause on withdrawals with an active bonus before you deposit, not when you want to cash out — it is one of the most common causes of disputes, and it is covered in detail under general bonus terms.
Bonuses and your budget
Wagering requirements are designed to keep you playing. That is not a reason to avoid every bonus, but it is a reason to decide your budget before the bonus decides it for you. A deposit limit set at registration, a fixed number of sessions and a clear stop when the deadline is near will protect you better than any strategy.
